arising out of work, their dependants shall be paid grants for funeral expenses and maintenance subsidies according to Item (a) of the present Article. If they die more than a year after retirement, grants for funeral expenses and relief gratuities shall be paid according to Item (b) of the present Article.

(a) When workers and employees die during retirement

after they have completely lost their capacity for work owing to disablement not arising from work, grants for funeral expenses shall be paid from labour insurance funds amounting to one month's average per capital wages in the enter- prise.

(e) When the death occurs of workers who have retired

on old age, grants for funeral expenses shall be paid according to Item (d) of the present Article.

(f) Grants for funeral expenses shall be made from

labour insurance funds when the deaths occur of dependants of workers and employees. If the deceased is over ten years of age, a grant shall be made amounting to one-third of the average monthly per capital wages in the enterprise; if the deceased is from one to ten years of age, a grant shall be made amounting to one-quarter of the average monthly per capita wages in the enterprise. No grants shall be made for the death of children under one year of age.

Article 15. Old-age retirement pensions shall be as follows:

(a) Male workers and employees who have reached the

age of 60, and have a working life of 25 years including 10 years' service in the enterprise in which they are employed shall be paid an old-age retirement pension from labour insurance funds according to their length of service. During their retirement theys ahll be paid a monthly old-age pension amounting to 35% - 60% of their wages. Such pension shall be paid until they die. If the enterprise requires their further service and has sought their consent to continue it, an old-age allowance amounting to 10% - 20% of their wages shall be added to their pay. Details are to be provided in supplementary regulations.

(b) Female workers and employees who have reached

the age of 50 and have a working-life of 20 years including 10 years' service in the enterprise in which they are employed shall enjoy old-age pensions as provided in Item (a) of the present Article.

(c) Old-age benefits provided in Items (a) and (b)

shall be given to make workers and employees who have reached the age of 55 and female workers and employees who have reached the age of 45 if they have worked in underground mines or at places where the temperature is regularly under 32°F or over 100°F. In calculating their working life and length of service in the enter- prise, every year spent in such surroundings
